3-17-26   THOUGHTS

David’s words often amaze me.  I am drawn closer to God by the way he says things.   I love the end of this reading!  Our God has brought us near to Himself in Christ Jesus.  How blessed we are.  May we learn contentment and satisfaction in our Lord!   May the Joy of Your Salvation drive our reason for living.

Ps 65:1-5    There will be silence before You, and praise in Zion, O God, And to You the vow will be performed.   2  O You who hear prayer, To You all men come.  3  Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You forgive them.  4  How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.  5  By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness,
O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;

Our Prayer:
We praise You, O Glorious God of all ends of the earth.  Surely we are satisfied  with Your goodness, O God.  May we dwell in Your courts forever.  Answer our prayers in righteousness, O God of our salvation.   In Jesus’ name,   Amen.
